Heard from the backseat...

Overheard one morning on the way to school as we are driving by a black Lincoln Navigator.

Nola: That's a pretty car. I'm gonna steal it.

Emerson: Nola, you can't steal things. You might get in trouble and go to jail.

Nola: Well maybe I'll ask them and we'll trade.

Emerson: Maybe they don't want to trade or be "stealed"

I lost track of the conversation after that. I thought it interesting the thoughts of the 4yr vs. 6yr old.
